High-purity magnesia
High-purity magnesia is a high-purity magnesium refractory raw material produced by sintering high-quality magnesite at a high temperature above 1700°C. This product features high magnesium oxide content, low impurity levels, dense crystals and high bulk density, and boasts outstanding properties including high refractoriness, strong slag resistance, excellent high-temperature strength and superior thermal stability.
It serves as the core raw material for manufacturing high-grade magnesia bricks, magnesia-alumina spinel bricks, unshaped castables, ramming mixes and furnace repair materials. Widely adopted for high-temperature refractory linings of steel converters, ladles, refining furnaces, cement rotary kilns and other high-temperature industrial kilns, it stands as the preferred raw material for high-end refractory materials in the metallurgical and building materials industries.
